Hello friends, it's been a long time since I’ve given E the love it really deserves but life is life and I’ve been struggling to find the motivation to do anything other than video games and adult crap. Despite all of that I do intend to step up!

Got two things I’ll be covering in this update today.
  • Folklore/ia is closing its doors come 1/1/25 and we’d like to welcome tentative characters from that world to ours with accommodations to their in-game accomplishments there.
  • The current SWP chapter will be closed 11/1/24 @ 5pm CST. Please be sure to update your characters’ SWP Tracker if you have any other dice rolls to include. We will be using it to announce this chapter's ending and the main progress character’s earnings.



Folklore/ia Community Notice

If you’re reading this from the seats of Folk’s grand community we’ve got something to share with you! It is always hard to say goodbye to a beloved site but I think we’ve all been through the process before. Transitions are hard, we leave behind all the time and dedication we put into something to start new elsewhere. It's daunting, it sucks. BUT NOT FOR YOU, we at E have decided to scoop up, with loving arms, those of you who decide to join us and offer you some appealing transition goodies.

Character’s that will be transitioning from the world of Folklore/ia will be greeted with:
  • The ability to receive manual EXP from half of their Folklore/ia post count. All that love you poured into Folklore/ia deserves to live on! Post count plays a major role in our Level system that is used for mechanics (dice). Read about level here.
  • Any characters pregnant during transition are welcome to make use of our newer Procreation system without rolling the dice of succession (as in the character is already pregnant so no need to determine if it took). Babies that pop out will be Spirits, not Ghosts, which includes 10 extra points to disperse across foundation stats.
  • Some random goodies that can be claimed whenever use is needed such as but not limited to: escape death, escape realm collapse, a handful of free magical crafts. We will work out the details on these soon but these are things that we also hand out during events as rewards. They are small goodies but can come in handy!
  • A “Memoria Folkloria” award badge to claim and forever remember the grand world of Folklore.

These goodies will be available from now up until two weeks after Folklore/ia’s closing date (1/1/25). More may be added as we peek through to see what all we can offer in semi-equal comparison, that works with our systems, based on your dedication and time spent there. If you have any suggestions please feel free to talk with us about them.


E Updates

  • Folklore transitioners are going to receive some goodies that we typically hand out during events as rewards. To be fair to current members you will be offered the same event reward goodies.
  • SWP Part 2. “It Beckons” will come to a grinding halt on 11/1/24 at approximately 5pm CST. You will be left with a cliffhanger until 1/11/25 where will pick the SWP back up and deliver to you a new era. !! Please be sure to update your characters’ SWP Tracker if you have any other dice rolls to include. We will be using it to announce this chapter's ending and the main progress character’s earnings.
  • Relaxed Mode (Beta) will close 1/1/25 and we will enter our official game play. We may be considering ways of questing for regaining lost soul shards in the future, as this was something many were worried about, but we may use an alternative system to quests. Details on this will be disclosed closer to January. !! As a friendly reminder, during beta characters can reset their SS to 100 when we close beta, so your tester help does not screw you in the end.
  • Our revamp, although slow and delivered months ago, also featured some new mechanics like Bands & Groups, Gold & Market, and Procreation. They haven’t been given a shout out so we’re going to go ahead and tell you to take a peek. !! Dice pages for quick copy and paste are still weird. These will be addressed quickly but in the meantime if you need to use a mechanic that has not been completely finished in the dice area you can ask staff for help to get you the proper rolling code.
  • Magic is being redone to only require dice for magic intended to be used during altercations, crafting, or other instances that involve harm or use against another character.
  • Altercations will be reformed to include magic as a way to defend oneself, using up their “action” slot instead of taking physical action (this was not accounted for when it should have been lol).
  • A new system that will allow us to incorporate unique skills for those that like to have something to achieve and flaunt. This system will make use of character level and give them some boost to their chosen taxonomy.
